New York Gritty Is Dying street installation series were installed in four neighborhoods undergoing rapid gentrification and made with found objects from the street, recycled objects from the studio, and low cost material found in 99 cent stores. By aesthetically mirroring and humanizing buildings of the neighborhood, a meditation on the raw beauty of New York City streets responds to transformations and its effect on the community.
